I know last night must have hurt you as you are looking deep for the negatives.. Now if that is the case that the players upped their game for the cameras, then the bad performances as to be down to them as well..That would be very interesting if they put in a performance like that to get away from the club........surely it would benefit them if they did it week in week out if they were looking for a bigger club to come in for them!!
Think we have a real find with Korey Smith playing full back. Lots of people like him, but I have never really thought he was championship material in midfield due to his desire to dwell on the ball. At full back, he looks like he has played there for years. Bryan had a much better game as did Cotterill and I thought O'Neill was industrious. Tomlin a clear MOM and a top drawer classy finish from Tammy, it was difficult to tell who was the team in 3rd place and who was 3 from bottom. I reckon we must have opened a few eyes on Sky last night. Overall, we never let Huddersfield rest and settle. Well done LJ. Got the tactics spot on.
I just think we have a real find with Korey Smith period. He is a great little player in most positions, and would not look ridiculous in the Premiership
I do wonder where that performance came from given some of the shockers over the course of the season but fair play to the players and staff. Need to do it on a consistent basis now, not just when the Sky cameras are there.
did you get your spade from Machine mart or B & Q .. I guess the hole is still bout 3 metres deep and you have managed to reduce it by 10cms .....
PS I am the first to admit that even such a good result , we are not out of the fire by a long chalk still need 12 points from 8 games
Still a hell of a lot too do. I hope he sticks with this team, except for injury. He gotta a lot to do too get the fans back on side. This season due to him has been one big disaster.
In all fairness to LJ it's been a massive learning curve, he's a young English manager learning his trade is a massively difficult league, he's had more downs than ups, but who knows he might just be getting the hang of it, I for one wish him all the best, we could do with some good young English managers, will he succeed, only time will tell, if he does, I hope it's with Bristol City.
So friday night was not due to LJ but "someone"! at the club, you really have made a fool of yourself RR
