Some great match ups & Derbies in the International calendar this week.

    Brazil vs Argentina
    USA vs Mexico

    Holland v Belgium
Vertongen did what he does best - pulled shirt of Sunderland reject Lens to get Holland on board.
    Jansen picked up a knock.
Kompany was subbed after prematch warm up. Poor guy struggling with repeating niggles.
Hazard brothers played in the same match.

    USA v Mexico huh?
If the Mexicans get a free kick in the US half, will the USA make a huge wall and demand the Mexicans players are in it?
Or will they just deport ghee all and claim victory by default?
Could be a tasty match ... but think Mexico will win 2-1 and then get chased out of town by a posse!

I see the sarcasm. But honestly - this match up is usually rugged & dramatic.

Ofcourse Trump will build the wall for US of A.

Don't really follow international football apart from the main tournaments so no idea about the history tbh. I ignorantly thought there can't be too much rivalry cos the USA have only been taking football seriously for around 25 years (from the build up to the 1994 world cup) whereas Mexico have been going at it for much longer.

Brazil v Argentina looks good on paper but can see that being underwhelming as they could well cancel eachother out.

Exaclty. Mexico is still the powerhouse. However USA plan their matches in Freezing cold, snow & ice bowl like stadiums.
Think USA have won the last 3 or 4 straight games against Mexico played in USA.

I see a good match nevertheless. Brazil to win 3-2.

It's not going to be easy for the Mexicans now as they have to get past the new American wall.

Fernandinho should (Could) have seen 2nd yellow few minutes before that goal.
but his first yellow was very soft.

2-0 for Brazil now. Neymar grabs second. Argentina to miss out on WC Proper?

Not even 60 mins - Brazil 3-0 up.

When a Spuds reject scores against you - you are doomed Argentina.

One of the best player in Chelsea squad opened scoring & got his second in injury time to help Super Eagles beat Algeria 3-1.
Algeria's only score scored by Spud reject.

Ivan starts against Wales. His header cleared off the line by Taylor.
    Matic also plays in this.

Chile vs Uruguay now on Bein. Not a bad way to finish the international breaks.

Alexis, Luis, Edinson et al start.
