If we are talking about the Boat Race, I understand that HM The Queen is going to kiss the cox of the winning crew!

If it's not too late and there's still a nag left, I'd like to be in please. Cheers finglas.

No problem - we all liked Luke - he wanted to go and was out of contract at the end of the season, so made sense to sell him

We also loved big Matt Smith - did a brilliant job for us on loan a couple of years ago - a good bloke

As the first team boats are all taken I'll have the Oxford reserve boat, it's called 'Isis'...<yikes>

I guess Goldhawk should be nailed on for the Cambridge reserve boat called 'Goldie'...<laugh>

The reserve race is on BBC half an hour before the main event...

No TV coverage of the boat race over here, so I'm watching on this stream:-

The Cancer Research UK Boat Races between Oxford and Cambridge on April 2 will be streamed live on YouTube for the first time.

The Boat Races, which have a 188-year history, will be available globally on YouTube. Over 250,000 people line the banks of the Thames on Race day and millions more watch the event live on the BBC in the UK every year but, with over a billion people globally on YouTube, this announcement will give one of Britain’s biggest sporting events the chance to be seen by many more across the world.
