Meant to post on this before, but my inability to be in the country in the near future meant it wasn't too urgent. I thought this was a great idea, but seems we are a tough bunch to get into the same room at the same time. Chippy has put us to shame.

I'll be drinking at Bridge assuming the trains aren't completely ****ed. I probably won't be drinking.

I've got me two tickets... I'm a short walk from Shoreditch High Street, so unsure whether to go there (as it's trendier and cheaper) then Overground to Surry Quays or London Bridge and have a beer round there.

Shoreditch and cheap in the same sentence? We are these magical places you speak of.

Brooklyn lager is £6 in crown and shuttle.

Water poet is decent but wouldn't say it's cheap. Loads of city boys too.

That's about the going rate these days in the City. I was getting lashed in the Crown and Shuttle on Friday, drinking a nice whiskey. I reckon if anyones in the City and going to the Millwall match, we go to Shoreditch High Street....

If I'm coming from the office I'd be up for that. Otherwise I'll be under the arches at peckham rye if anyone fancies that. Two stops to bermondsey.

Dirty Dicks, the site of many PEA tear ups and shakedowns, and one of the reasons I gave up drinking - a whole seven years ago!
    Great memories, though.
