I don't think anyone will begrudge Nico a title. 2014 could have swung either way, 2015 was Hamilton's thru and thru, so why not 2016 be Nico's if Abu Dhabai goes Merc 1-2 as expected.

 

Button offering to crash into Nico .... for a fee! XD Can you imagine now if Nico's race is ended by Button (by accident) after this article? Lol.

Still firmly believe it's going to be Hamilton's deserved WDC, don't know quite how, but sommat ??? somehow !!!

Hopefully he can go out with a good drive, and not tootle around in 16th place with a car that just doesn't want to go quickly.

 

Can't see anything other than 1-2 for the Mercs, if Rosberg is second going into the second corner, you can bet, he'll turn the engine down after the first 2/3 laps and cruise behind Hamilton for the rest of the race = Boring race!
Only way we get a good race is if Hamilton is second into the first corner, that may be worth watching then!

And, clutching at straws, hopefully we'll see a repeat of Singapore 2015, where the Merc's can't fire up the Ultra Softs and Super Softs as good as Red Bull and Ferrari, that way we get a decent finale to the season!

But.. in all honesty. technical reliability aside, its a Merc 1-2...

Just want it to be clean and controversy free, otherwise the internet will be taken over by their respective fan boys!

 

Does Nico have any fans?

 

Yes. I've seen some of them on Facebook. They seem to like Nico because he is fair and a gentleman unlike that nasty Hamilton who is mean and undeserving and likes rap music.

Plus Nico has nice hair and wears nice jumpers..

Prediction, Ham 1st, Red Bulls 2nd and 3rd, Rosberg 4th

 

Rosberg goes well here remember, 2014 he had mechanical issues...

 

A nice thought Ernie but I suspect Man at C&A has the championship in the bag. Unless his engine blows up.

 

I predict Hamilton and Rosberg to cruise to a 1-2 in the most boring way possible, as is tradition.

 

Once this race is over, with any luck everyone is a winner.

 

I cannot wait for this season to end....

 

Verstappen has given Nico the first indication of a warning- he's within half a second on the super softs with the Mercs on Ultras.

May have some important relevance in Q2 tomorrow...

Like me and Chris said, if a mechanical issue or collision decides this we will log in again in March. All eyes on Verstappen.
