Hopefully some of the dummy spitters after the Celtic game have abit more optimism now.

 

i admit i was fuming after the Celtic game, but i had us down for a win today, always will want the lads to win just breaks my heart when i see a team not interested and only there for the dosh,so chuffed with today's performance.

 

To be fair I think many of us were concerned after that game.

But Celtic don't play in the championship, thankfully.

It's been said by quite a few on here that this is a poor league and they were right.

We could look quite good in this league. Doesn't make us a good team though.

Not yet.

 

What Celtic game ? seriously, a great result, thanks to that performance anything from the next two games is now a bonus. Grayson has the squad ticking over nicely,a truly remarkable transformation when you think of it.

 

Not wanting to be an "I told you so" but I wasn't!! I saw a pre season friendly as a nothing game and it didn't bother me at all. Said as much on here too.

I'm glad there's a few eating their words to be honest. I think we have a decent team mentality and a little confidence. 2 games against fancied opposition and 4 points. But I won't get carried away. It's a long season

 

I disagree. Its a very hard league in my opinion full of international players that are first teamers for their country.
Alot of people panicked aftet the Celtic game but it was a friendly at tbe end of the day. Like ive said all along we will do well this season in my opinion.

 

I'm thinking that am gonna predict we lose every week.

Very well done if you've been punting it mate. You're in small company I think though. Just my opinion but I think the mood was pretty subdued overall.

I was concerned after the Celtic game. The team looked liked strangers on the pitch. There were massive gaps all over the pitch.

But as you say it was a friendly, and against a much better team as well.

I still think the overall standard of the league isn't great though.

 

fair play to those after the Celtic game thought all would be ok.....I certainly didn't, but hopefully they can keep this going and make me eat my words.

Was about to reply to Tees but youve said pretty much exactly what my thoughts are.

There's a lot of hard work in the league but with little quality, if we can get a mix of both then we'll be top 6 easily.

All ifs and buts though.

Sheff we'd aren't playing that well so hopefully get enough great result down there.
