Off Topic Non meat eaters

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Albert's Chip Shop, Jul 23, 2017.

  1. I would like to give up red meat. I think I could live on chicken and fish.

Not sure I could go full-on vegan.

    I hate nut-loaf, for a start.

Everybody should eat at least one vegetarian. That way we can at least reduce the problem.

They're a ****ing nuisance, especially when you're doing the cooking!

You might be out of luck there HIAG. When Moses and the Israelites were in the desert for 40 years God only had bread to send them. Chicken Madras is definitely not on the menu

Might as well just slice your own balls off when you announce yourself to the world that you're joining the veggie borewagon.

    Eat the ****ing chicken ffs.

Vegans are even worse. They should be supplied with a length of rope and a stool each.

My missus is vegetarian so most of the cooking we do at home is meat free. I eat chicken and fish though and I'll treat myself to a steak if we're eating out.

Whilst we're onmiverous as a species, our bodies are not designed to process large amounts of red meat, so it's best kept to a minimum.

I run a heath food business, so I get to deal with a lot of vegetarians and vegans and people with specific dietary needs. In my opinion Veganism as a concept is sound, but the vegan community are almost cultish in their ferverence with it.

There are also a lot of 'fads' around at the moment with paleo, gluten free, volumetrics, and all sorts of other diets. A lot of people I meet tell me they have an allergy to this and that and that they can't eat specific things. I ask them what allergy tests they've had done and 99% of them say none 'I just know it's bad for me'

Unfortunately as a result, there are a lot of people out there who think that they are following a healthy diet, but who are actually malnutritioned.

I'm not claiming to have all the answers and everybody is different. But for me you can't go wrong by trying to incorporate a wide range of food groups and keep everything in moderation.

My other dietary tip is that if you eat enough beetroot, you will eventually get purple ****.

Sadly not old mate, I became a veggie 20 years ago but slipped back occasionally.but I'm really happy as it opened up a business opportunity for me that changed my life. ultimately against my heart I sold the concept to a multi national company but it's left me secure for the rest of my days without lift
