For those of us who live in England, knowing that last night there was an open-top bus celebration in Swansea, we naturally tuned into BBC Wales on Satellite to get the regional news. Surely they would feature a few seconds of the parade, right? Wrong! Nothing. No mention.

    BBC Cardiff strikes again?

I can see it now next season; while the Swans entertain Man U at the Liberty, the commentary, coverage and analyses in Wales will be focussed on Cardiff playing at Huddersfield or Peterborough.

I was wondering about that Soaring Swan, will they put our commentary on digital and main BBC Wales rather than just on FM in South West now we're in the PL or will Cardiff still get preference?

The coverage of the open top bus parade was live on Sky Sports News. You will probably find that Sky sports paid to show it exclusively, leaving ITV and BBC to just show highlights after the event. I could be wrong but it seems to be the way that Sky do things.
