I really don't know why this rumour is taking off considering he quit the Broncos for health reasons. He's got Alzheimer's. Edit - sorry just seen this.
And now the buggers are banning Cadbury's Dairy Milk being sold in the US, as they know it's far superior to that Hershey's ****!
Sky tonight saying the UK/Europe group are the group that came close to buying Aston Villa before Dr Tony Xia's £60 million deal to buy them from Randy Lerner.
Huh? Please explain. CDM still tastes as good as it always has, and Hershey's unfortunately still tastes as lousy. Or ... do you mean there has been a change of mind that I've not heard about?
They are in a complete mess. I work in the industry and if there's a business model for the UK you don't want to follow - it's the Kraft/Mondelez model.
All sounding very promising if the US group has contacted the Council and the Council is open to investment in the surrounding area. A strong working relationship between the owners and the Council, and the owners and the fans, could be a great foothold to start on. Really hope there can be some move made to have official representation from HCST on the Board.
They'd probably have to start putting actual **** in Cadbury's to make it taste worse than Hershey. That stuff is ****ing appalling.
Its weird there hasnt been anything on our news about it. This kind of thing normally gets talked about. I hope its true like you said it leads to some good vibes about how they would be starting out.
It's being reported on Sky from the looks of things, so maybe when the identity of the interested parties becomes known, it'll kick off a bit more coverage over there. I suppose at the moment with nothing really known about the identities of the parties, it's harder to report from that end.
