Yeah wtf TOM? Ta for the answer btw. Not sure Ida fancied trotting up and down Chesil beach when I was young and fit with scuba gear let alone now.
Sorry if this is going over old ground , but what is to stop the allarms converting debt owed to them into bank loans, making a big a profit as possible this year then walking away in the summer for whatever they can sell the club for ?
Nothing, other than no bank would lend them enough to cover their entire existing debt, it would be too risky. They could certainly switch a fair bit of it though, that's what's concerning about the loan against future Premier League income. It could be Bartlett all over again.
If it is bartlett mark 2, what position does that leave the club in, liquidation or receivership ? Could the fans get together to take it on or would we need a.p. with a backer ?
Converting their debt to bank debt and then selling the club wouldn't be illegal, not unless they hid the fact from the buyer.
If they leave us in the same state we were when they stepped in, considering the promotions and cup runs, surely on balance we're up and just back to normal for us?
It would make them even bigger ****s for rejecting the Lee and Grieve bids, which would have given them their money back, while also leaving us in a good position.
If you say so. I'll continue to believe it is. If they have they may well end up in prison. Although I'm pretty sure their legal advisors will have told them that if asked.
The people who hate them couldn't hate them more and they've said they want them gone at any cost. I suspect they're lying. I suspect they want them gone after leaving us in a better place than when they stepped in but don't want to give any credit to them for that. After all, they're entitled to expect that.
Personally, I'd take administration to see them gone. Still wouldn't change the fact that they're a pair of ****s for doing it though.
I know you have no idea what I'm talking about. In certain circumstances it is illegal to take out a bank loan or any other type of loan.
This may have been my fault. TOMs post had tried to quote a question he was responding to but messed the tags up a bit, I tried to edit it as I sometimes to do to fix the tags and make it appear correctly, but quickly realised the codes were ****ed up beyond repair and changed my mind, but left no sign of the original attempt at a quote.
WTF?! PLT! WFT? Its my fault actually, I should not have edited HP's post. Ta for trying, but they should have read through the threads.
