It was only announced in a Swedish newspaper a few hours back. So how is it old news did your brother tell you in March?
I already like him. He uses both feet. I have a bugbear about one-footed players. At professional level you should be able to use both. I know you can learn because I did myself - I taught myself to use my left foot to the point where I was confident enough to cross the ball and to take (and score) a penalty with my left. If I can do it at Wilts league div 3 level then there is no excuse for the professional.
Can't really comment much on the basis of a highlights package, but if he's highly rated in Sweden then could well be an interesting signing and hypothetically would add depth by being able to play on either wing. Looks like he might be tricky and able to deliver a cross, which placed onto the head of man-mountain Diedhiou could result in quite a few goals...
I was never better than probably div 12 sunday league .... rugby was my game however, 2 footed - ness for me was a very powerful left footed shot, only surpassed by an even more powerful right. crossing the ball right footed quite good, 7/10 left foot 1 or 2 out of ten... dribbling, ball control winning tackles beating opponents... 3/10 (depended on quality of opposition of course) all done mostly right footed, speed until I reached 35/40 100yds in 12.2 secs
Apparantly lightening quick, that will be a big bonus in the championship Please can we have a quality keeper then I would be a very happy bunny
He's certainly fast and has good foot speed as well which defenders always find hard to deal with. I like the way he can switch flanks or play centrally, very hard to defend against players like that. He's very strong on his left, I only saw one right foot cross, so good defenders will close him down. A player like this will suit Durjic down to the ground as he gets plenty of crosses in, provided he can get himself in the right areas to exploit this.
Didn't we once have the quickest player in the football league in a certain Ivan Sproule? Didn't score many goals - he was fast though...... Bless him - remember his goal vs Southampton at AG? everyone was screaming for him to shoot but he took it to the corner first before cutting in and rounding the defender - GJ said afterwards he thought Ivan was going to take the ball down the tunnel and out of the ground
It looks as though £2m will be the price. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/niclas-eliasson-talks-bristol-city-283446
