Only this but it is the star http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...nsmann-Francesco-Guidolin-Premier-League-news My biggest concern is his lack of experience, but if he brings in experience behind him that may work. I suppose we could take fergie as his no.2. I think valley mentioned Butt and Scholes, but what experience do they have.
I also want him to bring a Pheelan or Mulestene in as his assistant. Those two have a wealth of experience.
That's why I'll be very surprised if it's Giggs because he won't allow Huw to dictate footballing/transfer matters and will we be able to afford Scholes, Butt etc? The more time this takes, the more I worry it's the 'American Klopp' coming in.
I have to agree and have that sinking feeling we will go for the cheapest option available to us again and that will be Bradley.
What makes you think Giggs won't allow Huw to dictate football matters? Assertiveness is hardly his strong point!
Really? Do you think that someone who has played for Utd for 29 years, won everything there is to win in club football, under the greatest manager ever, and someone who harbours ambitions of managing Utd is going to be dictated to on footballing issues etc by a pencil pusher?
He was a right whimp with old bacon face with regard to his Wales duties, or shall we say the lack of them!!........
Tbh I could really give two hoots about that. We gave Monk the job and he did very well in his first 18 months with no experience. Giggs has worked under SAF, and with Moyes and LVG - plenty of experience under his belt.
Who says Jenkins will keep his job as chairman, The yanks were at the match apparently and i think they have seen enough that changes could be made this week, Swans are only out of the bottom 3 on goal difference and they wont want to see that.....
His achievements are unquestionable. I'm talking about his character. I've followed his career since he was a 16 year old and I've seen nothing to show that he could manage a troublesome changing room. He's gone quietly about his business, rather than being a leader in the changing room.
"rather than being a leader in a changing room". From the age of 32 onwards he WAS the leader in the Utd dressing room. SAF has alluded to this on several occasions and so have his ex team mates etc.
Ive been out for a few pints this afternoon in a few pubs and there is a big keep FG in charge support.
Just like he said his mate Moyes was the right man to succeed him. Just because SAF says something, it doesn't make it true. Giggs is even subversive on a TV panel ffs.
I can understand there are questions about his past but they are private matters which we all have.. I myself dont like him for the way he let Wales down in our hour of need but it wont stop me from backing him as manager as he has a wealth of experience of working in management as No2 and he has worked with the best manager ever imo. Out of the names mentioned then i would want Giggs but i have a sneaky feeling that the yanks will bring in their own people and Bradley will get the job....
Roy Keane and Gary Neville are great TV pundits but have flopped so far as managers. So I don't see how he speaks on TV has anything to do with his ability to be our manager. Could say the same with Guido - he comes across as lacklustre, uninspiring and even timid in his interviews etc.
