Newcastle have a chance to put more space between themselves and second place (Brighton don't play till 5.30pm and are away at Bristol City) as they face strugglers Cardiff at home. Cardiff have improved a little since Neil Warnock took charge and will probably be set up to defend at all costs. Newcastle are on a six game winning streak and must be favoured to take maximum points here as well.

Sounds like there is a bit of bad blood between Warnock and Benitez which should add spice to the occasion.
Warnocks comments after Sheffield United's relegation in 2007, which he blamed partly on Benitez fielding a weakened Liverpool side against relegation rivals Fulham, provoked an email from Benitez's solicitors threatening legal action if Warnock kept accusing the Spaniard of poor sportsmanship.There was a reluctant handshake between the pair on that night four years ago, as Benitez's Chelsea thrashed the Whites 5-1, despite Warnock suggesting he might refuse the gesture.

Warnock commented recently "The last time I heard from Rafa he was threatening to sue me in an email if I mentioned it again," he said.

Matt Richie will be missing through suspension but Colback and Gayle are expected to be fit. Yedlin suffered a head wound at Preston and is having it assessed.

I agree. I think these polls are pointless, yet some seem to love them.
Perhaps we should do a poll to see whether or not people want to have polls included in future threads.
