Looking at the NUFC board thread, one of their lads seems to be well connected and there's talk of a cockney mafia and Marseille mafia collusion <laugh> seems like a fairly in-depth operation that could be very messy.

I think they best fetch back Kinnear just to deal with the press at this difficult time.

The mags are in the clear, according to the Standard. Only a certain type of club is being investigated and it sure ain't them :)

So I base my facts on actual facts. **** knows your process.

Come on then justify this comment. You seem exceptionally definite about it. I'm all ears.

Aye, bail maybe, they didn't send over a 100 officers into raids to just drop the whole thing. He'll be rebailed a few times during this on going investigation. They're hardly going to drop the case the day they arrest him and before they've examined the copious amount of paperwork and electronic devices they seized that very same day are they? Like they're not going to charge him yet either. They're are building a serious fraud case, not sorting out a minor who nicked some sweets and got caught. Mountains and molehills? False sense of security more like fella. From you that is. This has a long way to run.

I've been bailed 4 times without charges, pending investigation. Twice I've answered my bail and been charged when I got there. Twice I got the phone call to tell me not to bother turning up to answer the bail as insufficient evidence, so NFA.

It`s a bit different with HMRC.

He's still under investigation, and will still be under caution. Once notified that he`s under investigation for suspected evasion, he will stay under investigation until they tell him he`s clear. It will likely take months, for them to process all the evidence and they will be keeping a very close eye on him.

I wouldn`t be surprised if they had a lot of evidence already and are now putting the links together. To mount a raid of that size I would expect them to be on very firm ground.
