Hi Ha5, and welcome. Great to see the forum expanding.

And for the record, we all know that for it to be even considered "it", it must start with WD.

WD24. Thank you very much and good night...

How come that with a country the size of this one, my full postal address consists of two lines, three if you add France?
No house number, no street name, the postie knows who we all are. It does have problems when you try to buy something on-line from the UK when they insist that you must be numbered.

Not sure if M. le Mayor knows that I always give 1. ;)

HA1 here. Have you seen the sports centre the community trust is building near the bottom of Oxhey Lane on the Uxbridge Road - hopefully it will cement the HA connection.

As an aside, I usually have the use of a 9 seat minibus at the weekend, would anybody in the area be interested for away games (chip in for diesel). I go to about half the away games - next year should be good with West Ham replacing QPR, and Brighton, Southampton and hopefully Posh (or Franchise FC) replacing Blades PNE and Scunny.
    I try to get to:
    Pompey
    Derby
    Cardiff
    Bristol City
    Ipswich
    Forest
    Leicester
    Cov
    Norwich
(plus Soton and Brighton, Posh & MK if they go up.)
by car if they are on a Saturday (plus a couple of the Tuesday night games if not too far) .
Anything further or closer by public transport!

Gotta say, i wish i had a WD postcode lol.

Ooh harrow...a) i wondered what all the blinkin' traffic chaos has been about! Thanks for letting me know...and

    b) i'd be very interested! :) Are you going to Leicester? i haven't yet decided, nor broached the subject with Mr Hornette, and i'm not sure what we're doing next weekend and whether i'm working, but i'm seriously thinking about heading to Leicester instead! lol...

I would have jumped at the chance too.... Am going to try and go to more away games next season (say that every year though). With Brighton up, possibly Southampton and Bournemouth still having an outside chance, that's 3 down this way! Also want to go to the Swansea game... so am hopng that is a Saturday next season (if they don't go up, of course).
