Huddersfield Players turned up to training today to be told that he is off to Leicester, this has been confirmed by several journalists etc on Twitter. What are your thoughts on this managerial appointment? And Huddersfield fans how to you feel about it given the fact Clark took you so close to promotion last season?
It would seem that you are correct, there are tweets a plenty. Shame, I was hoping it would be Keane.
Clark has done an excellent job at Huddersfield IMO. Keane's record is a bit hit and miss in the Championship
Rob Tanner just tweeted Reports that clark has told his Huddersfield players that he is joining Leicester.
JamesNursey James Nursey Lee Clark definitely got #LCFC job. #Huddersfield players turned up for training today to be told he's off to #Leicester I dont know who he is but this is off twitter
SeanMJarvis Sean Jarvis bombarded with tweets - once again - no approach from lcfc and no mention from LC interest in the job #nothingschanged This tweet is from one of the directors at Huddersfield
How do I feel? If it is true - then I am both optimistic and wary. Optimistic that we have an up and coming British manager and wary that we have one without experience of this league (or higher like some of our other applicants). Will wait for the official statement on lcfc.com before I react like that.
With the amount of cash we have i would of preferred someone with a bit of experience with money ie Mark Hughes. Just look at our history with giving managers money they havent had before. Peter Taylor, Martin Allen and Ian Holloway all failed in the transfer market after being backed
Is it just Clark or is Kevin Keegan involved as well? Cannot help but feel Clark is way out of his league here but only time will tell, hmmmm not sure!
Looks like it's bollocks, Lee Clark just told Talksport that he has no interest in the Leicester job.
Been reading other tweets and looking around t'internet - apparently this is all false as Huddersfield players don't train on Thursdays and Talksport say that Lee Clark has told them that he isn't going anywhere. The only guy saying it is definite is a Daily Mirror journalist and we all know how reliable they are.
I'm not remotely worried, even you did come in for him, he'd turn you down. Your place is a circus at the moment, he won't go back, why would he? He's built a team that are in the top six and are top of the form table and he's up for manager of the month for the second month running. It seems you're already in talks with someone, so it's not Nige, I bet you get Keane.
If Hull turn us down but Nigel says he wants to go then i dont see how you can keep him. He can just quit and we get him anyway
