Looks like the home shirt for next season has been leaked. Pretty simply which isn't a bad thing I feel as we are traditionally mainly yellow with a bit of red or black. https://thekitman.co.uk/watford-2017-18-adidas-home-kit-leaked/
i actually like it, i suit v-necks better .. but i like plain and simple. Apparently it is what it is because Adidas ran out of time, having spent so much time on everyone elses, so they threw ours together at the last minute. I think maybe now it's been leaked and there is such negativity about it, it may change, but i doubt it.
I find that hard to believe that they are giving that line when there were 5 possible kits to be looked at as options before then end of the season - I wish I could find a link - if that is the case, does that mean that the negotiations over a settlement with Dryworld for us leaving 1 year into a 3 year deal took longer? Don't forget, we haven't seen the away and keepers kits yet.
Looks too much like an advertising board for my taste. Lettering far too large. Doubt that I will rush over to get one.
I like it, I hope it is the one we use. But nothing has beaten the "marmite" kit after our last promotion and first season in the Prem.
It's fine but don't really expect too much - especially from the bigger suppliers like Adidas, who tend to just use a template for a lot of the kits. They suggest we have had more input into next seasons... but doesn't mean it will be any better Not seen what the new shirt deal is like though - assuming it must be an decent increase on what 138 were (still are?) paying us! I didn't even know it was FX Pro until I saw the shirt....
Not a fan at all. There are so many things Adidas could do massaging their stock designs and we get this, if the leak is to be believed. A lot of the stuff in the Hornets Nest (yeah right!) on Facebook is much better and the designers aren't pushing the envelope. That said some of the designs with sashes are too much like a south London club we know of.
I think the main sponsor can take a hike though - the name looks as though it's branding our players as Ex Pros...
