It seems silly that the club was Counting down to a new crest.
Hopefully, we will have another financial backer soon enough, ready to take little Oldham to the big time.

If you think about it all Latics did was set up a 'We Are Latics' webpage with a slogan and a countdown clock. The rest of it was fevered speculation from Latics fans.

Although I did lower my expectations I was still a tad disappointed, as I was hoping for just a little more. If Latics had announced a new kit manufacturer, rather than Carbrini, with a new first choice strip as well, I’d have been a little happier.

Nevertheless, I’m sure the club will conclude that this has been a successful marketing campaign. Whether it brings in more money to the club remains to be seen.

Getting so rather OTT actions over this.

'I will never watch Oldham again' etc...

Well I didn't really expect the multi-million pound buyout I suppose!

I like the new kit, I don't like the new badge. It looks like an old Scout badge I once had....

Anyway, what does it matter? Here's hoping for a win on Saturday and then we can look forward to the new season.
