Probably the most underated player at Goodison, a genuine pro and never leaves anything on the pitch. Makes a change to read about a top level pro who's still grounded and appreciates his lot in life.
Along with Ossie he defines everything good about Everton and what the fans want. A player who gives 100% every game, never complained and get stuck in. But what they don't get credit for is the skills and how good a player they both are. Martinez placed great faith in both and he fits the pattern of play he wants. If only we had a 23 year old Ossie in our ranks
Spot on that. The idiot boo boys who don't know their arse from their elbow may finally appreciate Ossies ability when he's no longer in the squad and we're relying on a donk like Cleverley
