    Quote from the above article,,,,,,
Martin O'Neill would be on the list of any club," said Jenkins. "Whether his financial requirements and ours are the same, we'll have to wait and see."

With the Malaysians confirming funds available, what an exciting season this could turn out to be

I hope you can get Martin in as your manager next season. I would rate your chances far more with him in charge than many others.

Next job is to find some strikers <ok>

Maybe in January if it proves he can not do it at the higher level or we get someone better. <ok> Can you wait 6 months?

Probably not haha :) What other players do you see coming to Norwich? Would you have any of the Cardiff team if you could?

Interesting that skybet don't even list SM, O'neil 2/1 on there though, can't believe Billy Davies is such low odds, a bit worrying <steam>

Why aren't I on there. I'd do it for half the money Jonesy was on. Good cost savings there and I'd let them keep my ST money. What a win win!!!

Or Ian Dowie! No offence to him, he seems a nice guy but he hasn't got the greatest recent track record...

    God no! Not Keane!!
With Houllier gone now at Villa this could get the managerial merry go round going again but can't see O'Neill going back to Villa Park.:emoticon-0111-blush

oh give me a break, as if were going to get o'neill.

he was on at least £2m a year at aston villa, and turned down the west ham jon on what was most likely similar money to that. there are plenty of good managers out there, but just because o'neill is more high profile, than say, mackay or poyet, doesnt mean he's any better at this level. championship management is completely different to managing in the top league.

that said, jenkins' comments hardly seem to rule out a move for him..

Others to Norwich - It's nearly impossible to 2nd guess Paul Lambert but any young player with hunger and sufficient ability is a target for our top man.
I can not see any of the Cardiff team from the last season fitting in to that category but personally would like to bring Bellamy back home to where he started in the football league <ok>

Just can't see O'Niel accepting what we can payt. The only way around that would be VT and TG putting up a huge lump sum to pay for MON.

Guess we will see. I remember I thought there was no way that we would have seen Bellers in a Cardiff shirt last season!

I think we can pull it off. He's interested, it''s just a matter of what the Malaysians ahve in mind. I'm just excited that it's being considered as a possibility. Just remember all the 'we'll never land Bellamy talk' last summer.

Can't see O'Neil coming to us myself. I still think the likes of de Matteo, Hughton or now McAllister after Houllier leaving Villa are the most likely prospects. Also, the ex-Jack Tisdale as an outsider - good up and coming guy, also cheaper than the others. But would we want an ex-Jack. If it were, say, Martinez (would not happen I know) I would say yes as Swansea were a stepping stone for him, but Tisdale? Thoughts guys and gals.

I'd be happy with either Martin O'Neil or Chris Hughton. Blimey, these are exciting times!!
