It's a bit of a laugh seeing Nigel Pearson being held up as the man to save us. He's a dickhead who has achieved virtually nothing as a manager and can't stop being sacked. Sounds brill.
Agree with all your frustrations but on the positive side yesterday was the start of our unbeaten run to the end of the season. The sequence and timing of the games comming up is favourable for us. Some opponents (Leicester 'Champions League' . Arsenal melt down , Chelsea willbe in a party mood) are very winnable when we play them. Plus some of our injured players will be back. As Sunderland fans we need to have positive faith atm. If we fail to beat Watford though ...fat lady sings our tune imo
Ffs we will always be fighting to stay up because the owner ambition is just to stay up. No manager will chance that till his sells up. I said Sam kept us up with 15m because sone peope say moyes has had no money . moyes has spent double that and his made the team weak as ****. The man has failed end of. Anyway iam bored with this **** now. I said my stuff.
Because if we'd lost he'll have surely been sacked and we would have given ourselves a chance to stay up with 10 games to go. He'll not get sacked off a draw (he still should) and we won't win another game this season with that moron in charge
My take on it is this. Ellis Short was at the match, now why? he doesn't attend a lot of matches lately so that tells me he's on a mission and to me that could be one of two things. Either (A) he's come over to see what's going on for himself and decide on Moyes's future, or (B) he's resigned himself to relegation and has come to sort out the clubs financial mess in readiness for the mickey mouse league next season. My guess is the later as we now have a seemingly impossible task to stay in the EPL and ES will execute his back up plan. Whatever the **** that is?
Here's hoping. We've still got a lot of winnable games to come like and if we are 5 or 6 points adrift come our last 4 games we have a fighters chance with the fixtures we have. I like probably every sunderland fan had earmarked yesterday as a must win but now I guess Watford is a must win and Leicester is a must not lose for me. 4 points from the next 2 and we are still hanging in there any less and we really are hoping for and miracle. The Arsenal game will be moved for the FA cup so we are gonna be playing a lot of games late in the season with the Boro game we are a game behind most teams down there. Has that been rearranged yet? Anyway what I'm trying to say is while there's still a chance it's still possible. At the moment it's improbable but not impossible. Think we will need to pull a result out of our arse against Man Utd or Arsenal like but we've been there before and most the teams down there haven't.
Well ur circus have plenty of experience of it in the last few years. If Moyes is in charge i cant see him getting us out of it.
The straws you cling to are getting shorter every week Wanderer. You're like a guy falling from a skyscraper thinking so far so good.
