I have to say that at the time i would have rather lost all the non performers rather than JM.
RA should of backed his man and tolerated a **** season and unloaded the trouble makers.
What Jose did get wrong was unloading Lukaku and KDB,awful decisions IMHO.

I'd just like to go on record on wishing jose well for the future.

It ended badly between us, but the memories he gave us will never be taken away.

    Top manager, top man.

we'll see you back wearing blue in 5 years boss.

I've never bought in to the Mourinho hype, loved what he achieved for us, but always thought with the resources he had, should have landed the holy grail champions league trophy. He never gave the youngsters a chance and look what some of them have gone on to do since. If the players try the same thing with Conte, and he knows what he is letting himself in for, then, and I am sure he will have the owners backing, tear up some roots because we sure need weeding out at the moment. lets get the Chelsea Flower Show on the road and start seeing some proper blooms and not dishing up regulation football that used to be the trademark of Arsenal.

I have to say, I'm not convinced that Jose is the right man for United. He is of course very good, but is he the only man, united could get right now?
I feel that United need much more of a shake down in order to rid themselves of the shadow of Ferguson. I can't see that being the thing that happens with Jose in charge.

Just lucky for United that Chelsea sacked him last season. There was no need to pull the trigger so early. In retrospect, you were never going to get relegated and the new regime didn't even get the Europa.

The way Jose self destructed last year and lost the dressing room should be a real worry for you guys. He kind of got away with it when it started to happen at Madrid (cos they had such good players and in a fairly non competitive league). He didn't get away with it last year and won't again in this premier league era.

I expect the usual good couple of years and then it'll probably go south. 3 year deal is the smartest thing United could have done. Just don't give him a bumper new deal if he wins you the title in year 2 ;)

I don't think any United fan is expecting it to last more than 3 years.

I do think Mourinho has been courting the job for years because he sees it as his opportunity to do a Sir Alex and build an empire without the shadow of a mad Russian owner hanging over him but by the pure nature of his personality and temperament he will blow himself up after around 3 years!

paints us as a load of idiots, so thanks mate. thanks a lot.

Agreed I think the first two seasons will be an absolute blast for you guys beyond that he has the tendency to piss everyone off but don't take my word for it: 2 stints at Chelsea, 1 at inter & Real all ending acrimoniously....I can see Bobby Charlton shaking his head right now.

I have to say, anyone calling Jose a Judas is clearly off their rocker. We love him and no matter where he goes he will always be associated with Chelsea. I'm fairly sure that even United fans see him as Chelsea.
At the end of the day we sacked him, twice. For whatever those reasons may be, he was forced out. He is entitled to go to where he wants and good luck to him!

Won't call him names but still believe he deliberately sabotaged your team so that he could angle a move out the club. So a Judas to all intents and purposes according to you, but you just won't call him names. You really are a baffoon <doh>
