Waghorn and Vine are two loan players who I'm sure I remember people being fairly happy with at the time. But after they left it was very different, particularly for Vine who became a laughing stock.
Is Marshall in there purely to get an argument going? Pass on that one, certainly not underrated. Definitely overrated. Rickets was always rated while here. Bruce is marmite, he's either SB's son or he's the Reason we lost the Cup Final when he was injured. Brown, brilliant in our promotion year, **** in the PL, see Wigan 5-0. Kilbane, did nothing so no. I rate him as a pundit however, he talks sense. Garcia, for me brilliant, definitely underrated by many. Evans, did ok, was always a Championship player though. McKenna, behave! Always good against us, never really did much IMO for us. Hughes, 1 game he had v Southampton. The rest he didn't do enough. Past it in the end. Quinn, always rated him, I thought we should have tried to keep him more, but too many midfielders was & has been our problem for too long. Fryatt, one of the best strikers we've had in recent years.
Didn't he play against Fulham or Blackburn? I genuinely cant remember and cant be arsed to look it up. If not why did he come back in - who got injured?
Wigan was his only Premier League appearance for us. I can't remember who got injured, but if I was a betting man, I'd go for Gardner.
