Absolutely, coming from someone who works in such places as Karachi, Mogadishu, Yemen.... try doing (or wearing) what you want in some of these places and see how long you last!!! We're as soft as sh*t in this country... a complete laughing stock
You're speaking for yourself though. You're not speaking for them. They're in their right mind, they just have different beliefs to us. People do far weirder **** in the name of religion/otherwise. Live and let live. I just don't understand the commotion about it aside from for security reasons/where there's uniform requirements. Sure some people think the Jews circumcising their baby boys is weird but who does it hurt?
It is not belief though as it is not in any Islamic teachings.. As I have argued, it is a symbol of women's subservience to men, and when it is drummed into them from childhood that it is the thing to do id different from having free choice. If I had my way it would be compulsory for all children to be taught the facts about religion all the way through school to combat the brainwashing they receive within their religion.
Thats your fact though. Not theirs. If they are happy doing it... And it's not hurting anyone. What's the problem? Until it's made clear that they feel they shouldn't be wearing them, we shouldn't be getting involved. We stick our beaks in and **** things up far too much as it is. Over here... A woman taking a man's name is a sign of their subservience to men when in fact they're just not anymore. It's just tradition. Some do it, some don't. Much like the burka. It's their decision. Not ours. Easy judging from the outside but you're trying to force your beliefs on them in the way you say they are on themselves.
No.. I just want equality and a level playing field for all.. If I'm not allowed in shops and banks with a face covering then why should it be different for others? As I have stated, it has nothing to do with Islam and derived from Saudi as a symbol of female subservience and that she should not show her face to another man once she has been claimed. No place in for that in a western democracy in my opinion.
Women hiding their face and/or hair comes from many cultures, including our own centuries ago. It's not just a Saudi thing. I don't think you can force equality on cultures any more than you can force democracy on nations. Some societies are happy with neither.
To be honest sometimes when I was out on the razzle I would wake up with some women and wish they had hidden their face PS - I'm nee oil painting either like so they were probably thinking likewise
Burkas, stockings, basques, headscarves, suspenders should all be banned. Makes me want to vomit thinking of a woman dressed in that ****e.
How the **** any **** can find that **** sexy is beyond me. I've literally just thrown up. Scrawny, skinny titted tarts dressed up in loads of nylon. You'd electrocute your cock ****ing them lot. Horrible, no thank you.
