    Morning all,

How you all doing? Anyone off to the match today? Ill be there driving in so no chance for a pint unfortunately. Hoping we can put in a good performance. Anyone any idea who the oppo are as I'm going in blind? Got my tickets for qpr this week as well. Anyone on here gonna be down there for that? Hoping this might be a better season than last. Operative word is definitely "hoping" ha ha ha. Gary Monk is a good appointment and think he will do us well if he lasts more than 10 games. Marching on together. Crew Crew Crew<cheers>

Morning... They finished 13th in Serie A last season, season before that just avoided relegation. Not one of the best Serie A teams but still should be too good for us so a good test today to see where we are at.

They are just the sort of opposition we should be playing

    Enjoy your day <ok>

Atalanta play in Serie A in Italy, they're no push overs, or they didn't use to be, finished mid table in Serie A last season, 13th to be exact, same as us.

This should be a stiffer test for our players as their players are also out to impress.

Cheers Ristac and LL. Sound like could be a stiff test then. Like you say just what we need see if we're ready for the season ahead. Hoping we play the new lads up front got a feeling Roofe and Antonsson will bag a shed load of goals this year.

Looking forward to reading your comments later. Glory will be doing a match report I'm sure but we already know the gist of that

In terms of quality they're a good test... In terms of them being championship style opposition to help sharpen us up for what lies ahead? maybe not.

I'd rather we played uk style opposition in final warm-ups.

Morning all. Should be a stiff test. Will also see what Monk's starting XI could be for next weekend. Let's hope for a decent performance, for CBs to do what they're paid to do, and for a win to kick off the new season
