Have a relative who does some work for the academy who told me that we were signing a mongolian goalkeeper for U18s or U23s not sure which. I nearly choked with laughter into my thatchers when he told me and thought it was a wind up. Anyway he produced some evidence to back up his claim. Problem with this kid is that he does not have a birth certificate and they are struggling with international clearance. Is this a new untapped market (I thought they just killed reindeer) or is signing mongols the next big thing? At least LJ would be able to look them in the eye.
Problem is Mike without a birth certificate he could be in his 40s and we are signing him for the youth team.
