a good read, thanks Lib. I liked the sentiment behind his decision to opt to play for Gambia rather than Sweden, as it allowed him to visit his mother's grave. It does raise the question of what you were doing reading the guardian though Lib?, haha!!
The article brought back many fond memories of my time in The Gambia, especially watching the impromptu games on the beach. Barrow would have been in Sweden, so I doubt I saw him play. Barrow has certainly raised The Swans' profile in the country, and that's no bad thing. Re The Guardian. Old habits,etc....
Barrow is and can be a very good player but a bit green yet....He is one of these youngsters who when good he is excellent but he can blow hot and cold because if he is bad then he is very bad and his mistakes have cost us......A very talented player who needs to have more experience under his belt but im glad he is with us and should we get relegated will be in the clutch of players that will want to move on....
Can't open the link for some reason. Maybe they've blocked me after all the bad comments I leave on their site. Yes, I officially hate the Guardian. Vetch, I'm now putting you on ignore. I've liked Barrow from the beginning. Many times he has been the only one even trying to do soomething to get us a goal. Yes, he's hot and cold sometimes and I just wonder how good he could be with some decent coaching. I actually think he could go all the way and be a top player.
The link doesn't work, so you've jinxed, oops, the entire site. "Ignore" me at your peril. Others have tried, and just look at them now.
