Lewisham Council have ordered an inquiry into plans to relocate Millwall Community Trust as part of a compulsory purchase order of land surrounding the stadium. The club have warned that the compulsory purchase of land surrounding the Den would force them away from London and out to Kent, but it now appears that those redevelopment plans are on the brink of falling apart. Neil Harris' Lions will - for Sunday at least - be able to switch their focus back to the pitch, with the League One club's reward for knocking out Bournemouth another tie against top-tier opponents as Walter Mazzarri's Hornets make the short trip. Millwall Team News: Shaun Hutchinson's calf tear is only "very minor", according to coach Neil Harris, but the centre-back is almost certain to be out against Watford. Watford Team News: Christian Kabasele could return after suffering from cramp, as could Nordin Amrabat (ankle), Isaac Success (hamstring) and Adrian Mariappa (knee). Valon Behrami is a major doubt due to a hamstring injury. Millwall vs Watford: Head-to-head Millwall 41 wins, Watford 32 wins, 29 Draws Wherever you are in the World-Enjoy the Game
My first ever away match was third match of the season at Millwall in 1962/63 - quite why the 6-0 defeat never put me off going to any more is a mystery. We rarely got points of them in the 60's - and the last match I saw before going to Oz to live was a 0-4 home defeat against the buggers...
Went to Cold harbor lane or the Old den a few times never good in many ways . The last time at the Vic they took the lead and out come the chant of " going up your having a larff " We equalized and the rookery come out with "staying up you are having a larff"
I'm going to the game as my first away trip of the season, really excited for it. If Millwall are up for it, it could be a tough game but I think we have a decent chance, especially as the new signings mean we can be a bit more flexible with who we play. Here's hoping we progress at get Lincoln in the next round!
Seem to be slowly getting a few players back from injury, which is good news. Is Cleverely cup tied? Zarate must still be banned and no idea if other lad is cup tied / injured or jet lagged! Either way, we should have the power to beat Millwall, bet Muff thought that too mind....
Bearing in mind our possibilities of picking up anything at Arsenal I would say that Millwall was the higher priority.
Cleverley was on Everton's bench for the 3rd round but didn't come on. I don't know if that is cup tied or not
I am guessing that means yes. Nothing about it in the below article, good journalism that! On a different note, with the Gunners then Burnley coming up WM might make some changes....http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...o_give_youngsters_another_chance_at_Millwall/ It Says - "Defender Christian Kabasele is a doubt with the cramp he suffered at Bournemouth." <What has he been cramped up all goddamn week???
Recovering from the injuries he recieved afterwards from his teamates and manager kicking him up the a*#* a thousand times!!!
Lord knows what GT would have made of all that! Kabasele probably got away lightly - just think if somebody like Pulis or Conte had been the manager. Ears and everything else would still be burning and he'd probably never be picked again (like Luke Shaw when Jose had a pop at him after we beat Man U)
