    Barclays Premier League
    Date - Saturday 17 December 2016
    Kick off - 15:00
    Venue - Riverside Stadium

Following their fine 3-0 victory over Sunderland, Swansea travel to the Riverside Stadium to play relegation rivals Middlesbrough in what will be the 3rd match in 8 days for the Swans, and the 3rd in 7 days for the Boro who lost 1-0 last Sunday away to Southampton.

Whatever the results from the respective midweek fixtures (Swans away to WBA, & Boro home to Liverpool), both sides will be desperate to win this "6 pointer".

Swansea and Boro have played each other on 42 occasions, with the Swans winning 15, Boro 18, with 9 draws.

The Swans' last visit to Middlesbrough was during their Promotion winning season under Brendan Rodgers, when they ran out 4-3 winners.

Craig Beattie's injury-time strike brought Swansea a thrilling win at Middlesbrough after they trailed 3-1.

His powerful left-footed low drive topped a comeback that began with Scott Sinclair's penalty and continued with Ashley Williams' scrappy effort.

Boro's Marvin Emnes struck the opener from inside the box, Nathan Dyer striking back from close range.

Whilst both sides will want a win, I think it will be a 2-2 draw.

Our defence is none existent, we are shipping so many goals it's quite frightening, I think we are down lads, tonights game against WBA is a bench mark result, we have had the upper hand against them in the past, how can you ship three headers in such a short period of play? Amat is not PL standard CB, ant Taylor is poor as well..........<ok>

Boro will be looking to put right their whipping at Anfield!! I'm fed up with watching Taylor's crap game, time to bring back Kingsley for this one, I'd drop Amat also, as he is not much better than Taylor, and was resposible for the second header last night, Amat is Championship at best............<ok>

It was Taylors fault Phil. He was supposed to be marking Rondon and went to sleep - he cost us two goals last night.

If I had my way, Taylor and Montero would never play for us again.

It's the duty of your tallest CB to cover long balls into the box, Amat saw Rondon signal for the cross, and he was infront of Rondon when the cross came in, Taylor was behind Rondon and the pint size bafoon could never tackle Rondon in the air in a million years,.

Amat stood off Rondon, and gave him a free header, Amat is a coward end of...........<ok>

I agree Amat is the one that should be challenging Rondon, but the fact he was standing right in front of Taylor and he could see he had got away from Amat, he should at least be marking up or challenging him for the ball. If Taylor had jumped with him but Rondon just bettered him and scored I would be fine with that as it's not a fair criticism on Taylor to be beating the likes of Rondon in the air, but to just stand there and watch it unfold is ridiculous. If you know you can't beat someone in the air, you do your best to put them off, not just give it up completely.

Kingsley and Barrow must start next game. Montero really let himself down last night, this was his one chance to show Bob what he could do and he completely ballsed it up. Players have bad games, fine. But being lazy, showing no commitment, no desire, and having a bad game, unforgivable.

We want a CB, LB, RB, CM, Winger, striker.
We NEED a CB, RB, CM, winger. Ballpark figure for me would be 5m, 5m, 10m, 10m.
Kingsley is good enough to start. I'm unsure if Fulton can keep it up, would be a very heavy burden for him to maintain that standard all season, and we know Britton can't play every game. Llorente and Baston have enough about them to grab us some goals throughout the season.
