Sad for the lad to see he has finally realized that his injury will not let him be the player he should have been....Good luck to him....

Michu was a revelation, taking the Premier League by storm. His name reverberated around the country. He is up there with the very best players to have represented the Club. Sadly, it didn't last.
He was an awesome sight bearing down on goal. One on one with goalkeepers, and there was only one result.
    Happy retirement, Michu.

His first season, is just about my favourite Swans season ever, the football was incredible, win or lose and just enjoyed everyminute and Michu played and absolutely massive part in it, compare that season to what we have had to watch since, there is no comparison. In my view of course. Oh to have a fit Michu in and around Llorente for us now.

I remember the commentary on MoTD for the 2nd goal... something along the lines of " you just knew he would score it - there was no way he was going to miss such is his confidence"
    He was fantastic that season.

Dai is going to **** his pants at that statement, but most of us know and totally agree with you. It cant be that Laudrup had us playing good football, well not in Dai's book.

He was the most successful Manager Swansea ever had. that's how "crap" he was.
Your opinions on most things are "crap", so no surprise that you are still unable to see the wood for the trees, re 'The Great Dane'.
Keep on amusing us Dai. <laugh>

I also loved the FA Cup game against Arsenal, when he came on as sub, scored immediately to secure a draw and walked off with the man of the match award!!

So we were in the bottom 3 in his first season, which is what people are talking about. But why look at the facts when you can make things up. Incredible.

He's talking nonsense as usual. The team were in 12th place, two points above the drop zone when he was sacked. Sometime in February ? I don't remember the team being in the bottom three during Laudrup's days.

Dai has a real bug up his arse re Laudrup. Bordering on insanity, which he compounded by insisting that Monk would be managing Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich. He ended up at Leeds. and Dai has gone very quiet about that. <laugh>
