Got mine today and like many others , I had to laugh at the letter when it says support the lads in an effort to return to the premier league , they should send that part to the ****wit with the cheque book
Got my card today For my old seat Back on the phone again then , see if I can get to speak to somebody who has any idea what they're doing
I got mine today Slightly worried that I haven't spotted the thing they've got wrong...there'll be something, I just don't know what yet (If it is right they'll probably just confiscate it from me...again!)
That won't happen as there's no one on the turnstile to take it off you /accuse you of 'double dipping' or something... perhaps it's your fault Ehab Joung-un Allem got rid of the turnstile staff !
I reckon if you turn up to the circle wearing jodhpurs and holding a squash racquet, you'll get escorted to the posh seats
Your journey has just begun. On match day ... Security gate might be locked. You assume your error free card activates the turnstile. You are assuming your seat actually exists. Your card might be error free but someone else might also be sat in your seat.
That sums it up perfectly. A good illustration of how Pearson worked is illustrated by what happened to someone I know. When the KC was built this bloke was invited as a previous sponsor at BP to have a tour round the stadium. He explained that he wouldn't be able to justify the prices at the KC for advertising. No problems said AP, it is a thankyou for your previous support when the club were struggling. So he went and was met by, I think, John Holmes and given a tour. Although a lifelong Leeds supporter he bought two Premier Club tickets for both football and rugby. His sons, Leeds supporters at the time used them the most. When none of them could go due to work he kindly let me use them. Anyway in time he sold the business and stopped buying them. However I came across his sons, along with his very young grandson who are now season ticketholders in the South Stand a couple of seasons ago. They were hooked by attending a game regularly, instead of once in a while and supporting through TV. From little acorns...If only AP had the business acumen and attitude to supporters of our current owners, eh?
I guess that this letter sums up the sentiments of many. I'm only going to fill my Saturday afternoons. At least I can shout inside the stadium and not at Burnsey on the radio...Ohhh.. just a minute. Doooahh
