Not sure if anyone on Facebook is in Cardiff City Football Club Fans Page but the admin and a few others had a fans meeting with Choo last night. The site admin posted the following statement: Tonights meeting with Mr Choo. Mr Choo agrees that the current formation is wrong and although in today's modern game players should be able to adapt to playing in more than one position , but are playing in a style they feel uncomfortable with. The players we have at the club are mostly the same as we had that finished 8th last year and are not playing to there full potential ,bar a few exceptions, we will be rectifying the situation. We have given Mr Trollope 11 games to prove himself but the results speak for themselves and the club will take the necessary actions in the forthcoming days. We have a mission to make it to the playoffs and will take action to get us there. Money will be available in January, how much will depend on the clubs position and players available. I am just as frustrated and hurt as the fans but now is not the time for protests or boycotts. the management and the players thank you you for your support but now is the time for unity. I shall be releasing my own statement in the next few days in an attempt at communicating with the fans myself - Choo.
Yep, saw that first thing this morning Jay. The most significant sentence was........................ "We have given Mr Trollope 11 games to prove himself but the results speak for themselves and the club will take the necessary actions in the forthcoming days." Wonder what that actually means.
I hope I'm right in this Sparks, but I'm assuming they gave him 11 games to prove himself at the beginning of the season and he has failed all expectations and now action must be taken. I really really pray it's not another 11 games as that would prove disastrous!
Does this mean their looking for a replacement so that if they do sack him, we won't be left rudderless with Lennie in charge? Or am I assuming they actually have a plan, when it's clear that they don't!
Playing for time I reckon Sheepy. If they had a Plan B at boardroom level, they would have pushed the button last weekend. As it is they appear to be scrambling around in the dark.
Hi Sparkey. Typical - the first time in a long time we have half a chance of not losing and he sacks Trollope days before we visit. Dead cat bounce and Sag Lambert, we've had it.
WoL have now picked up the Choo meets fans story http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/full-details-ken-choos-meeting-11975911
