Bit of an unwanted record, I know. Saw the lads going off to Bilbao on Saturday morning actually. I was waiting in an orderly queue on the tarmac at Sevilla airport before getting on my Easyjet flight to Gatwick for a weekend over in the UK and the players and staff were all coming out of the VIP lounge and wandering over to the rather snazzy blue private jet that had been chartered. I did wonder if they would be going direct from Bilbao to Basle.
COY Los Rojiblancos Hasn't got the same ring to it, but not to worry - Good Luck Sevilla please log in to view this image
Good on ya Fulhaman, done the hat trick. New hero tonight as well, Captain Coke - please log in to view this image
Cheers. Thought you might post Cottager so had a quick check on my mobile. First goals he has ever scored in this competition as well. Not a bad time to start. Don't live near the ground but would imagine it is pretty manic down there at the moment. It's pretty manic in the bar/restaurant I am in at the moment. Celebrating with a rather fine Brandy in one hand and my arm around the señora. Roll on Champions League next year.
Tough going to play two Cup Finals in 4 days Fulhaman. Sounds as though the Copa del Rey was more than tough - Sevilla 9 Barcelona 10. please log in to view this image Mind your lads must have been cream crackered by extra time. And .. what a season Kevin Gameiro has had - 29 goals and 7 assists. Yet France are not taking him to the Euros !
Meant to ask you Fulhaman what's the gos on the story that Everton are homing in on Sevilla coach Unai Emery? http://www.espnfc.co.uk/story/28789...villa-manager-unai-emery-for-coaching-vacancy
Not really a story out here anymore. According to Sevilla TV he turned them down. There is more interest and speculation in the press that he might become Real Madrid's new manager - this was particularly rife before they won the Champion's League. If they hadn't the stories went that Zidane would have been let go - he still may be, they are a law unto themselves. And yes - a game too far for the lads. Did well but extra time killed them.
Sad day Fulhaman if the story is true and Monchi (your Mr Moneyball) is off to Man Utd. please log in to view this image
He does have a buyout clause in his contract and Mourinho knows him from his La Liga days and I understand is an admirer. Would be very sad to see him go. He does work miracles time and again.
And yesterday we signed Pablo Sarabia from Getafe. An attacking midfielder who chips in with goals now and again - not vastly prolific, or hasn't been so in the past, but this has Monchi's fingerprints all over it.
Blimey, Brighton don't half like our exes. They've gone and signed Steve Sidwell on a 1 year deal. please log in to view this image Source: http://www.seagulls.co.uk/ [Guess his loan spell with them (the latest one that is) didn't do any harm.]
One for all you gamblers, predictions for the gate Fulham v Newcastle I will donate £50 to the winners charity of choice. Nearest to actual gate wins I am going for 17,200
Is it any wonder that this man wasn't too bothered about letting Moussa Dembele go to Celtic for peanuts (or his half share anyway). please log in to view this image According to the Sunday Times today, if (when) Paul Pogba goes to Man United Mino Raiola will pocket 30 million euros from a 30% sell-on fee he carved out with Juventus when he took Pogba to the club.
It's Happy 20th Birthday to Moussa Dembele and congratulations on making his debut for Celtic in a Champions League game. Well sort of - they lost 1-0 to the part timers from Gibraltar, Lincoln Red Imps. please log in to view this image
Read an interesting comment from Emerson Hyndman The training sessions here at Bournemouth are much more intense. Maybe thats why we only played for 75min in each game last season .
If you renewed your old seat, it will get automatically loaded on to last year's ST, Surly. Unless of course you're like one lad I read about - he was so disenchanted by our 'performance' he threw his into the Thames after the last game of last season! Here's the information the Club put out yesterday - "Fans who have purchased a new Season Ticket for the 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship campaign are advised that the cards are being dispatched today (Monday) and will arrive in time for Friday night’s meeting with Newcastle United. Please note that if you had a 2015/16 Season Ticket card, this will be reloaded for the new season. You will not be sent a new card. New cards will only be issued to supporters who have moved seats, changed age category, or bought a brand new Season Ticket."
