http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/qpr-defender-steven-caulker-arrested-9760769 QPR defender Steven Caulker was reportedly arrested last month for drunkenly throwing objects around a London railway station. Police were called to Clapham Junction station in south west London in the early hours of January 16, according to The Sun. Caulker was allegedly trying to hit people and apparently even attempted to place a temporary barrier on top of someone's head. The one-cap England international, who has not featured for Rangers since October, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly at Wimbledon magistrates' court. Even the Russians won't take the headcase!
when he finally leaves the game, or the game decides there is no place for him, maybe he will regret things like this.
Yet another strand of nonsense that continually encircles our club. Will there ever be a time when we can just be a bit normal? Even Zamora said so on Sky Sports Fantasy Football show at the weekend ...
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...int_Caulker_s_surprise_move_in_doubt/?ref=rss FORMER Saints defender Steven Caulker’s surprise move to Lokomotiv Moscow is looking increasingly unlikely. The 25-year-old centre-back has struggled to make an impact at Queens Park Rangers since making an £8m move from Cardiff in 2014, spending time on loan at Saints and Liverpool last term. Caulker has made 14 appearances for QPR this season but has been in talks with Lokomotiv Moscow about a shock move to Russia. Lokomotiv jumped the gun with several posts on social media suggesting the deal was close to completion last week but yesterday posted a Twitter video suggesting the move was ‘cancelled’. WILL IT NEVER END
Deal is dead according to Lokomotive, claiming 'Caulker and his agent's demands are not realistic and detached from the reality of the Russian transfer market'... Clearly he's happy to leech £40k a week on his arse...
Is he still injured? We could use him if he's fit. He was no worse than the others when he played earlier this season, and we are idiotlcally short at CB.
Agree although I feel we may be swimming against the tide on this one Os. Head screwed on he'd be a huge asset.
He was good for about two and a half games. The bloke is done. Take him to the woods and shoot him in the back of the head. It's the kindest thing to do.
