What are Watford fans views on Matt Sadler?

He has played pretty well for Shrewsbury on loan. As his contract is up at the end of this season do you think he will be released.

Yes - he's not highly regarded by either management or fans and is the last of the 'high earners' the club are trying to get off the books.

My uncle's a Watford supporter and he said that you'd been suffering with players left over from signing Prem contracts

Sadler isn't going to be staying with us. He's gone from the Premier League to League Two and it finally looks like he's found a level where he can consistently keep up and one that suits him.

It's a shame because for what we paid in transfer fee and wages he didn't give a lot back, but that's just football and he gave his best.

One thing is for sure though...we desperately need a left back and either we need to get someone in like Taylor or hope that some of the youngsters such as my mate Tumwa in the u18 who is an actual left back can step up.
