so how many people on this board meet in the Old Peacock on match days?

I generally go in the pavilion prematch.

    i mix it up.

magic sponge, whistlestop, salters, pavillion or peacock.

Sponge is usually a bit busy, as is peacock...salters & Whistlestop are the best for gettin served

Thanks for that Jud. To help your local taxi drivers when I ask to be taken to the Whistlestop, is there an actual area name I can ask for? The last time the taxi driver hadn't got a clue as to what I was talking about. I almost asked him in Urdu just to make sure. But I got there in the end

I usually go to the Taps in town on match days, and if the queues for t'rough bus to ER haven't been that long sneak into the bar in the Revie.

I've been to the Sponge a couple of times, but not for a couple of seasons.

    Salters is fun enough :)

I need a drink. You think I’d have learnt my lesson after Tuesday. Did I feel rough yesterday…

The food for dinner I had was IMMENSE…it was from Varsity in town and it was called Dirty Dogs Dinner…it was a Dogs Bowl!!!, filled with sausage, bacon, beans and chips. And all for £4.75.

The dirty hot dog looked niceish though. big hotdog covered in beef chilli, onions, jalapenos and mustard. With chips.
