The Cardiff fans were begging for him back when his Mrs tweeted something about if they need a new keeper the other day. The club maybe not.
Sure - however if the Jak gets injured I assume Marshall comes back in.... I'd prefer McGregor as our back up from what I've seen
to be totally honest, I dont think anyone on here thought Marshall was any good... he is like a Harper between the sticks.... ie. only the **** manager persisted with him, when we could all see that he was dire.
ignoring all the doubts about the method used for those stats, not only did jak make 2nd on the list, but his rate of preventing additional goals was the best in the division due to the small number of games he's played.
The thing is lads & lasses hes our keeper now and I know he's been crap! But these keepers work better when confidence is high so let's hope he doesn't read this eh? What's gone has gone and jaks in! but we may well need a confident Marshall at some point?
Anyone else think McGregor sheet himself towards the end of last season? For what it's worth I think Marshall is currently going through the same bout of 90 minute Diarrhea more commonly called nerves.
i didn't realise you were so hard of thinking. jakupovic 11 games this season, 14 goals conceded marshall 16 games for us this season, 38 goals conceded your eyesight seems more suspect than most, so what are your specs tinted with?
Remind me again of the PL games Jakupovic has played in? Nah, don't trouble yourself Lesster Swansea Man Utd Burnley Arsenal Bournemouth So only Man Utd and Arsenal out of those 6 could be termed top teams, and we conceded 4 at home to them.
okay, let's omit games against the top 6 to make it fairer. jakupovic P7 W5 D2 L0 F13 A5 marshall P12 W2 D3 L7 F21 A22 i take your point! much fairer! thank you!
He played a blinder at the cauldrons of Exeter and Bristol C I agree Did well against Championship side Newcastle too.
How many ridiculous **** ups have the defence made in front of Jak? There was one tonight - they scored from it. I can't think of any more. It's harsh to pin it all on the goalkeeper when for the vast majority of those goals he didn't stand a ****ing chance to do anything about them.
Jakupovic did ok today but was a bit flappy. Goes to show yet again how a player can improve his form when sitting on the sidelines.
he didn't play against exeter. that was kuciak. newcastle would probably beat a number of lower prem sides. tell you what, i'll divide it into batches based in current team positions. v top 6 inc cup games dm P4 W0 D0 L4 F1 A13 ... ej P4 W0 D0 L4 F1 A9 v teams in 7th-11th dm P7 W2 D2 L3 F8 A11 ... ej P0........................... v teams in the bottom 9 dm P5 W0 D1 L4 F4 A14 ... ej P5 W4 D1 L0 F10 A3 v lower teams in cups dm P0 ................................. ej P2 W1 D1 L0 F3 A2 jakupovic has done better against teams in the top 6 by a goal per match and much better against teams in the bottom 9. teams in 7th-11th and lower divisions not directly comparable.
Thanks for confirming my point. Not a valid statistical comparison. Good luck to whoever goes in goal for us. I back whoever it is. Shame some of our 'fans' don't.
you are a clearly mathematically incompetent and being a ****wit for the sake of it. fortunately silva picks the side and not you.
