The analysis is based on goals he was expected to prevent based on 2500 shots analysed for difficulty to save.
You're only taking it at face value because it's telling you what you want to hear. That doesn't make it accurate.
No I'm taking it at face value because it backs up what I've seen all season. The sample size is also sufficient to suggest it's not a warped stat.
That's exactly what I said, you're taking it at face value because it agrees with you. Sample size is completely irrelevant if the methodology is flawed.
Just like the Marshall lovers looking for any reason under the sun why the poor sod concedes over 2 goals a game? The article was about Bravo, that it is such a huge indictment on Marshall by coincidence is telling.
The Lads were training over the back fence this morning. Strangely, on the subject of keepers, Kusiak seemed to be getting some 1 on 1 training from our new GK coach. There seemed to be a lot of emphasis on defending corners again and breaking out fast with Marco really pushing them.
Marshall has been mismanaged and quite simply should have been taken out of the firing line, regardless of his overall goalkeeping ability. It's clear he was struggling, you don't leave him in the starting 11.
It was strange when some argued he needed to stay in the team for fear of damaging his confidence when it was clear each week conceding 3-4 was doing far worse.
I'm a fan of Marshall and Jacupovic - they're both Hull City players. To pit keeper against keeper like it's some bitter spiteful rivalry, is pathetic. Generation Recaro.
There was, but you can look at it two ways. Looking beyond Marshall and his performances, it should have been the responsibility of the manager to take Marshall out of the firing line and protect his player who clearly wasn't at the top of his game. Players will always attract criticism from fans for poor performances as will managers and almost any other line of work from colleagues etc. Not probably something we should be so shocked or surprised at.
McGregor hasn't played for about a year and has a problem back - obviously sensible to give him game time and test his back with someone else rather than with ourselves
Because they wouldnt have wanted him back I imagine. Why would they? A crocked, getting back to fitness Greegsy's way better than him.
