According to the belgian press, he would be a terrific signing if that's true, he's exactly the type of midfielder we need, he can become our Toure.
I'd love to see Anderson fulfil his talent but our midfield lacks goals so Fellaini would be an improvement. We've also lacked a physical presence in the middle for a number of years. I'm not absolutely thrilled with Fellaini as a potential signing but it seems to make sense.
The fact is he's a similar player to Toure in build and style. You know that but yet again your United obsession has brought you here to try and create a spat with matth or shwan. You're dim and tedious which is an unfortunate combination.
He's alright. Don't get me wrong, good player and all that but I was actually looking forward to a stellar signing this year, someone really big. **** know's who though, and Fabregas does not fit into that category by the way. The problem I have with Fellaini is not him but that it adds fuel to those who are saying Moyes can't attract big players etc. etc., him going back to Everton just puts a bit of pressure on him in that repsct which he could do without. I actually think, though, that alongside Carrick and maybe Kagawa he'd be good.
Whenever I've seen him play in midfield he's useless, everytime I've seen him play off the striker he's very good.
Not saying he's a better player per se, but you need some presence in midfield rather than another Carrick esq player.
his goal rate & assist per match is better (Fellaini: 35% goal per match, Assist 16% VS Yaya:21% goals per match & assist 15%), remember Fellaini do that for a club who don't score or attack as much , so Fellaini scored 20% of Everton goals compared to 10% for Yaya Fellaini is very skillful with ball & as strong and younger
the QS is .. why you are so jealous? didn't you guys wanted him too? his goal rate & assist per match is better (Fellaini: 35% goal per match, Assist 16% VS Yaya:21% goals per match & assist 15%), remember Fellaini do that for a club who don't score or attack as much , so Fellaini scored 20% of Everton goals compared to 10% for Yaya and his ball skills are great and thus help him to keep the ball amazingly .. seem just bcz he joined us you lost your memory ... time to refresh it with some of his goals and ball control
He played a second striker for most of the season Of course his stats are going to be better. From whoscored Yaya Touré's Characteristics + Strengths Passing Very Strong Through balls Strong Dribbling Strong Key passes Strong Concentration Strong Marouane Fellaini's Characteristics + Strengths Aerial Duels Very Strong Finishing Strong Tackling Strong Defensive contribution Strong They seem very similar
