Mark Little ready to put himself in shop window and earn a new contract at Bristol City The full-back's deal at Ashton Gate runs out at the end of the current season please log in to view this image Mark Little Mark Little has an opportunity to put himself back in the shop window after recovering from the hamstring injury that interrupted his season. Ruled out for the past six weeks, the experienced right-back announced his return to action as an over-age player in Bristol City’s 3-1 Central League Cup southern area final victory over Portsmouth at Failand on Friday. And he is now ready to contest a place in head coach Lee Johnson’s first team squad when City travel to West London to take on Brentford at Griffin Park this Saturday. Out of contract at the end of the season and yet to be offered a new deal by the Robins, Little could be heading out of Ashton Gate at the end of the season. With just eight games of the Championship campaign remaining, the 28-year-old defender is fast running out of time to attract potential suitors. The latest step in his road to recovery saw Little play for 45 minutes against Pompey before coming off. He will return to training today in the hope that he can force his way into Johnson’s thoughts between now and the end of the campaign. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/mark-little-ready-put-himself-14384
