No one with any sense would look to pay lots for him on a big contract.
As others have said he is completely unproven in England and many other managers have shone brightly before burning out.
If anyone was to come looking they'd do it after a season when he can be judged.
    Ask me in ten games...

Silva was a good manager before he came here and he has had nothing but good reaction from fellow professionals, the press and supporters in this country.
He does things right, in a methodical way and he has gained instant respect from our players who are performing far better under his tactics and training.
How you can't see he's a good manager is beyond me.

I can see he is a good manager, that's not my point. my point was that he is not going to get big offers until he has shown he can do it over a decent period, and is consistent.
There are loads of fantastic footballers, but only the consistent ones get the big clubs and stay there.

I've never said he was crap, just that I'm saving judgement until I have seen enough myself to be sure.

He doesn't have to get an offer from a big club, just a decent contract offer from an average PL club who regard him as more promising than Pardew.
Then I suppose Pardew will be the best we could hope for.

Didn't he sign a 18 month deal with the option to leave after 6 months?
He's must be looking for a longer deal because he is happy here.
He's brought with him so much postivity since he arrived.
Get him on a 3 year deal ASAP

Purely from a financial perspective getting him to commit to 3 years would be a good signing. If he does continue to deliver and someone comes a calling, then that would come at a cost to whoever. As far as the sale of the club <laugh> is concerned, having him in place would make the purchase seemingly more attractive.

I thought he was only on a 6 month deal ? The 18 month thing was wrong according to people on here (probably OLM?)

At the moment he's only on a deal until the end of this season.

And fecking fat chops merson now thinks Sr Silva would be a good option for leicester.

he would be a shoe in to a job with the F.A. who also don't know their collective arses from their elbows.
