No, I ran out of batteries. Being a home worker I have become a recluse so hate leaving the house. The internet couldn't deliver them until the next day, so I needed another way to change channel. It pauses, rewinds and brings up the guide too
I only wear my shirt to football (i am 'just' out of my teens). I love winding up Mrs No7 when we go on holiday by packing my shirt and saying it is for by the pool ...one day she will make me wear it
@Onionman, am I making this up or did you run a league table prediction competition at the start of the season? I need to check how embarrassed I am about to be but I can't find it
I tend to agree but I had a number of replica kits made by Toffs which I thought were terrific. I have two Saints kits including the red and white squares plus the Wanderers jersey which they wore when the won the first FA Cup in 1872. Toffs used to produce a wide range of Victorian football jerseys and I am fascinated by the original colours worn by teams which are radically different. I did want the Royal Engineer's top which is blue and red hoops and looked pretty good but I don't think this is now manufactured. The modern jerseys are something I have generally avoided. The most recent I had was the Flybe red and white stripes. I have a Winchester top but, as a rule, think they look odd outside of a football ground when you get to a certain age. The vintage kits tend to be a bit more respectable. It is fascinating watching the lower league games on Channel 5 to witness some of the dreadful second kits worn in the lower league. The horrors of the 1990s continue to manifest themselves in the lower tiers.
