We're out gritting tonight and have been for the last two nights in this part of Wales, admittedly on the northern/higher ground and not the coastal parts but still!
I've just spend two days in South Wales and Brecon in beautiful sunshine. Really shows off the VAlleys when the weather is good.
RIP Jonathan Demme, Philadelphia, Silence of the Lambs and Rachel Getting Married are particular favourites of mine and all such different films. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-39724613
And a friend has taken away a RH Rear Wishbone, from South Wales, for his car today. Don't know if that improves things, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
http://news.sky.com/story/armed-police-close-road-on-whitehall-near-government-departments-10853114 Armed police arrest a man armed with knives in Whitehall. Although I naturally feel mainly for victims and potential victims (in this case), this young man has also written his life off. What a waste all round.
Any clearer.? The two round things at the top indirectly attach to the car body. The car's right rear road wheel indirectly attaches to the silver spigot on the right. The suspension spring sits in the circular bit and the shock absorber attaches to the thing that projects downward on the left. There you go. Clear as mud.
Well they say the sun always shines on the righteous... Although maybe in my case it might be the self-righteous.
In geeky news, I have today managed to get my Amazon echo to change my TV channel when asked. I now just say "Alexa, turn on Sky Sports 1" or whatever and over to the channel the Virgin Media V6 Tivo box turns Geeky, but I am impressed anyway All it takes is a Raspberry Pi and a bit of patience to get it working
