    Mac OSX ;)

    Only joking :)

I swear by Symantec, but it does seem to take over your system.

Absolutely none. Windows 10 protects itself well enough. Keep Defender auto-updated. Unless you're silly enough to have client based email, such as the old Outlook from MS Office. Microsoft got rid of that years ago, as it was practically a portal for troubles.

If you have, I would change to server based mail ASAP, such as Gmail, Outlook online. Don't go anywhere near Yahoo, you're only asking for trouble. Until then, Avast, but it may conflict.

Good. You'll be absolutely fine with Windows 10's own built-in protection.

The next issue is, do you let Win10 take care of controlling your Gmail.? Initially, I tried it and it worked really well from the PC end, but Google kicked up a stink every time I accessed my own account. ;)

I was in Telford today. Incredibly strong winds. Got home tonight and the front gate was blown off its hook and the back gate blown right off its hinges and on to the floor!!

    Blimey, that's impressive.
I can honestly say that in my neck of the woods it was just a slightly breezy day. Today, the treetops were telling me no more than Force 3-4 out there, which is a gentle to moderate breeze, if memory serves, but nothing to get too worked up about on the Solent, when you can ramp that up to about F5-6 for sailing. Yet, RLL was at Dock Gate 4 and reported that the wind gusts were bloody ridiculous. Proper storm F10. It must have been funnelling up Southampton Water.
It's interesting. Southampton is hugely protected by its position in the surrounding landscape and height above sea-level, but it appears that some parts of it are even more protected than others.

I know he's not popular but if you haven't seen this, really do watch it. Just finished it and it's incredibly touching stuff.

Funnily enough, to carry the theme, I knew coming in it would be a tough job but I'm excited about it and just know I'll succeed....

The wind woke me up last night, it was so loud and strong.....

... the wife didn't even stir, so I don't think she realised she was doing it.

    :)

FLT, by any normal standards, 4:01 is still last night. I'm an insomniac but even I manage to still be sleeping at silly O'Clock

Very moving, and he and his family were some of the lucky ones who got out. I must admit I was warming to him as a person by the end of that account. It does put football rivalries into perspective.

At 4:01 I am usually getting ready for work.
Tiring, but I do like the 13:00 finish.

Fair point, it does make for more useful time but you need stamina (says a veteran of many different shift patterns)
