Yep with Dry January, the return of the Gym, some normal food, hopefully my 47 year old body will be ready for the beach in May* *Doubt it, I kid myself every year, but maybe now I'm older it will be easier to do
I'm 21, so in that sort of age range, but I despair at some of my fellows sometimes. I really fear for the future of mankind!!!!
Yes. Dry January. Which started on the 3rd (first day back at work). And will be suspended during a conference on the 20th. I'm a bit like those vegetarians who eat fish. It's more of a guideline than a rule
Every January I shun the booze, eat lots of fruit and vegetables and by the last week of January I feel great, full of energy and have a noticeably more optimistic outlook on life- and then the first of February arrives, I pull the cork out of a bottle and it all dissipates. Why, oh why, etc
Wish I'd seen this before Christmas.... http://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2016/12/14/13954242/heated-pulse-lube-pods Sometimes wtf?! just isn't enough.
Completely agree with that. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...8217s-harry-arter-over-his-stillborn-daughter Footballer been sacked after tweeting Bournemouth's Arter about his stillborn daughter. Has apologised, but I don't know how you'd even think of saying such a thing. You might accidently upset someone when not knowing the facts, but this waste of skin actually knew of Arter's loss. I give up.
Right now, someone Inn france is using my screen as they try and find out what I did wrong when installing printer... It's very weird. #ITgeniusnot
Some people can't handle the internet. They say things they wouldn't dream of saying in person. I blame the internet (in part) for the rise of the Racist Right in Europe and America. Also a rise is misogyny amoungst young people.
My guess is that it always existed, but now they have a voice and are delighted to find they are not alone. And they can reach people anonymously.
Exactly. Racists like Katie Hopkins might have had the odd Mail column to spread their bile, but now they can voice it as often as they want.
actually I don't think anyone can handle the internet and everyone says things they wouldn't dream of saying in person. It just hasn't worked, it hasn't brought the world together, it's allowed all the differences to have a voice. I've deleted posts from the night before because in the cold light of day I knew I wouldn't say that face to face down the pub.
Gutted to have received a letter from those nice people at Hampshire police for speeding when I went to the Middlesbrough game. 35 in a 30 at st Mary's place. Seems the choices are £100 fine and 3 points or driver awareness course costing £90 and no points. Anyone been on a course- any good? If you take the points does that affect future insurance premiums? First points I have had
Take the course if you have the time. Points can effect your premium. Personally I think all drivers should sit that course every 5 years or so.
I've done the course (a couple of times) - is quite interesting and certainly gives you plenty of info about the consequences of speeding - I was running late to the last one and got flashed by a camera on the way there, but luckily nothing ever came through the post. I've had a squeaky clean licence for 6 or 7 years now, as my awareness of where and when to stop speeding is finely honed, almost to the point of prescience now, since my courses with Wiltshire and Hampshire Constabularies - fine job chaps
This is exactly why I think all drivers should do the course. It is a good reminder of the dangers. I've done it a couple of times also.
Ok enough is enough! I'm already getting pissed off with Sir Andy Murray this Sir Andy that on the BBC. He plays tennis for God's sake!
