He's one of the few players I would be sorry to see going, has good potential, unless we're offered silly money I would like to see him stay

Bournemouth have also been watching Manning with QPR looking for a fee in the region of £7m with a sell on clause built into the deal.

No chance. We were very close to releasing the guy by all accounts. Hasn't shown anywhere near enough in my view for there to be any truth in this.

He would be daft to go. If he is to make progress it will be with us in the Championship, as he is not good enough to walk into an EPL team now....so he will be back in the reserves.
I hope for his sake he has some sensible advisors. A very good full season in the championship would do him a world of good (and us)

Mind you if we are offered 7million tomorrow ...that would be far too good to refuse.

£7m for a guy that has played a few games in the championship. There can be no truth in that.

So we'll actually be selling one of our few 'footballers'? We should be building a team around him and Freeman...

£7 million for a kid whose played a handful of games? If they really do want to be parted from their cash they could have Onuoha with his vast experience for anything over £10 million and we wouldn't even want a sell-on clause. (aside: "Sorry , hang on a minute, I'm on the phone -yeah that's right , I said versatile can play in any position and can kick a ball. Great touch too. References? No problem. His former employers Mr M Hughes and Mr H Redknapp. Oh go on then. We'll thro in the transport as well".)

Thought that too but there's seems to be plenty of cash around, and fools who want to be separated from it. (Sound familiar?)

maybe we may need to sell with Financial fair Play still not decided. And if we did, who potentially could come in. Will be interested to see in next few weeks who is leaving and who is staying.

I can see us selling Smithies for decent money...we have an heir and a spare already in (Ingrams and Lumley, who had a good season at Bristol)

Cannot see us selling Manning...as we are already struggling in midfield.
Luongo, Freeman and Manning are our only definate starters (although Cousins is suppose to be the absolute bees knees...IF EVER FIT...not seen it yet myself)

The rest of the mob Wszolek, Lualua (if he stays), Mackie, Perch, Yeni, Petrasso...are more specialised.

(somebody I really wonder if we will buy is Charlie Adam of Stoke...Ollie likes him a lot, must be getting towards the end of his Stoke contract too)

It's ten years since Spurs bought Dean Parrett from us for £1m + 25% sell-on clause, and he hadn't kicked a ball for us. Neither had Raheem Sterling for that sake. Premier League clubs are desperate to land the next 'big thing' and everything under £10m are peanuts and worth a gamble. Bournemouth paid £8m for Tyrone Mings for comparison.
If Manning is as good as he looks and the chance he will really hit the headlines next season, then the only chance clubs like Palace and Bournemouth have to landing him is take a gamble this summer. Cause if he has a good season for us next year there will be clubs higher up the food chain buying him.

This must confuse many on here. Options aplenty for Manning from our midfield but where's all the bids for Massimo Luongo who is constantly rated highly by pundits? The fact is that Manning has potential whereas Luongo might be a decent player in League One. Sorry to disappoint the Massimo fan club.

In a settled side I think Massimo will flourish... can't be much fun dealing with the uncertainty of selection irrespective of your performance.

Statistically he is one of our most consistent performers... but a lot of our fans' expectations appear to be Fortnum & Mason when we are actually shopping in Aldi...
