We had people over for lunch. I had two beers while I was preparing the feast and the best part of a bottle of white during the meal. I subsequently dozed through most of what seemed like a **** first half but enjoyed the second half. I need another nap.
Not at all. I see it as being a realist and I can't help it if I'm not jingoistic about all things MUFC. It seems on this board if you criticise anything, you're seen as negative. It doesn't help that I'm generally the only one posting during match threads and so there's just pages of my posts. If people want a different opinion then post for goodness sake. Don't criticise me for doing so and not posting yourselves ffs. I started this thread... http://www.not606.com/threads/uniteds-progress-this-season.342459/ in an effort to try and start a balanced debate. Where was I moaning or being exceedingly pessimistic? Your response to it is clearly evident. So please, with the greatest respect Sweats, either put up or
It wasnt the players but the positions they were playing. Normally nowt wrong with playing Martial up front with Rooney behind BUT sticking Mkhytarian on the left was a mistake. It stifled all 3. As soon as Mkhytarian went into midfield and Martial went LW with Rooney up front it all worked. I just don't see why managers start fcking around with player positions when they're just beginning to gel. Mkhytarian should NEVER play on the LW again. Neither should Rashford tbh.
Same rank and points as Wigan. Could be a tough away tie. On a general point about the draw, all Premiership sides kept apart and most away. If it goes to form, the QF could be the spiciest on record. All the top premiership teams still in there.
Best thing - no travel. We get a good preparation at Carrington without the hassle of overnights/travel etc.
Be good if it was Friday night actually, I remember going to a cracking Friday night FA cup tie at Ewood thirty two years ago! Can't believe it was that long ago, seems mad saying it, McGrath and Strachan, two nil and freezing ****ing cold.
