Interesting fact, I'm going to this game. Shame it's Sunday evening but what can you do, Monday off work it is then as a good few will be consumed in The Dockyard.

There did actually used to be a dockers club right near there in Ordsall. We went there pre match back in the day.

And of course Manchester had real docks. Like Bristol and Gloucester did/do.

We really, really need to win this match. We are now 12 points behind Liverpool. Even fourth place is now looking far out of reach with only a third of the season done.

 

11 points with a game in hand, and only six behind Arsenal. Hardly out of reach given the improvement in our play and form of late.

 

Could do without the top three keeping on winning though. It makes it more and more likely that it's three teams battling for just that fourth slot.

Well, two really. Spurs clearly don't have it in them!

 

If only we'd beaten Arsenal, we'd now be going above Spurs with a win tomorrow. The draws have really crippled our progress.

Is it any surprise that our football is so disjointed when we're making 5-6 changes between games. No excuses from Mourinho if we don't turn it on like Thursday. None.
