Here we go again for another must win.......................................................

actually forget that. The result is meaningless so this isn't a must win.

This is all about what happens in the final third in our epic pursuit of the final third trophy. So long as we do well in that it doesn't matter if we win, lose or draw.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, we must do whatever it takes to turn endless draws into wins so if it means sticking Fellaini up front and lumping the ball to him I couldn't give a ****, as long as it works. Points are required at this stage in the season, not scores for artistic merit.

That said, I can't see beyond a nil nil or one one classic.

I wonder what Alan Shearer thinks?

I can see this one turning into a heart-thumping, end to end nil-nil. I disagree regarding points for artistic merit - should we end the season level on goal difference then our artistic performance scores for the first and second thirds of the pitch will see us over the line and into the CL

Not sure whether Zlatan should come back myself, given how he really slows us down.
What we need is a front four with loads of pace.

I'm thinking Martial, Lingard, Rashford and Mkhitaryan should do it. That would be perfect. Can't recall them ever playing together.

Bags full of goals, no wait. Not goals. Bags full of final third action with those in and Zlatan out.

Yep, Zlatan can play in defence with Fellaini. Herrera, Valencia, Young and Carrick in midfield with Martial, Lingard, Mikki and Rashford up front - good old 4-4-2 ought to do it.

I can see Man U going on a bit of a good streak actually and doing a lot of damage to the big teams including Chelsea . Champions League should be the goal IMO

If Lukaku decides to play then it'll be a good game.

It now looks like Shaw will be in contention to play tonight after 'talks' with JM. He should be easy to spot with the bomb fuse sticking out of his arse.

    Let's hope so, thanks!

Looking forward to tonight for some reason. I genuinely have no idea why if I'm honest. Probably the beer.

Lukaka is bound to have a stormer to show off his credentials ahead of a possible transfer move, I hope our central defenders are ready for a tough test.

(Yes that is meant as a jinx on him).

Team news - no Rooney anywhere and Pogba on the bench. This also from JM's prog notes -
"I love my players and trust them all because I know how amazing they are, both as football and people but the one thing missing from our game this season has been the ability to consistently break down opponents and convert our chances in front of goal. We need to show our creativity and our talent on a more regular basis." Damn, that final third thing again, it's everywhere.
