Some decent folk use TT And some miserable ones as well You might find a few Man Utd fans from Hull on your Coach Dont say anything against the Allams or you might end up having a fight.
Judging by the sheer amount of tickets available for the 2nd leg, not many are going to bother.............unless of course, everyone is waiting to see how many they put past us tomorrow first.
That makes no sense, because Man Utd are a rich club, you won't see City play them in a semi final, you're all that's wrong in a City fan
Are you sure about that? I have just been 30mins looking for 4 seats together in the west stand and cant find any? (All season members or whatever they call it, but not allowed in our seats in west upper)
Agreed. I didn't even know we were playing tomorrow night and as I type that, it seems unthinkable to me.
Don't let the stewards reserve seats for people that aren't on the coach yet - ie if getting on at Goole or somebody running late - if it means you'll have to sit separately from who you're with. Stewards are bound to offer the coach as a taxi to people on the way home doing all sorts of drop offs back to the stadium. We had one dropped off pretty much outside the stadium just before Walton Street from the West Brom game - absolute piss take. Etc
I'm a bit of a regular on TT like yourself Filey and it's interesting to meet all types of people. The drivers are a bit of a laugh too. Shame about the stewards who tick on/off. They seem to think they have divine right to do as they want, forgetting they're just volunteering and not police. Sometimes in the past, I've seen them checking fans for beer in their bags (which is fine) only to see they've brought it on themselves and hidden it in the overhead storage. Once, some found it and started drinking it on the way down to the game (Sunderland). The box was moved for the journey home nearer the front.
I want to be able to make some noise with comrades of the same ilk at the home leg. Anyone know where the refugees from N5/4 and 3 are relocating to? Thanks in anticipation.
usually on coach 1 we're people seats are reserved I've been a few times on tt and asked if could move seat's so people could sit together
/ I got talking to a great bloke who does sales for the doc mart factory , on TT. Asked for my address incase he was ever in Filey A few days later I got a mail delivery . A new pair of docs. For me TT is the easiest way as I get dropped off at the stadium and picked up coming back and coaches drop me next to away ground. Mind you the walk up slope from drop off point at West Brom was a twat. Say hello if you see me Cortez.
The slope was a bit painful after standing in the cold for two hours. Felt frozen! We had some fella on the way to West Ham who had been up drinking whisky the night before. He slept most of the way there, but when he was awake, all he did was wind everybody around him (stranger or not). It was hilarious to watch. When he made eye contact with me, I promptly looked away and left him annoying his mate. There ended up being a huge debate about whether Meyler should play or not and whether he was called "may-ler" or "my-ler". You meet all kinds of folk on TT. I use it because to direct, no stress of driving/parking yourself and you're able to have a drink.
I think I was on the same coach as you once. I'd tell them to do one - the others should have gotten there earlier.
